May 23rd, 2011 – Throughout our time in the Gulf, we spent a great deal of time working with charter fishing captain and lifelong Gulf resident, Al Walker. Captain Al has worked tirelessly since the spill began to organize the efforts of charter fishermen from throughout the region, develop improved cleanup techniques, and spread the word about the spill and its effects. The videos below, which he shot in January of this year, chronicle the poor state of the BP cleanup efforts in the Gulf’s marshes and shores.
